Country Heights Damansara was one of Madoc’s most challenging residential automation projects, with a highly integrated system comprising more than 100 Phase Cut dimming circuits, more than 150 relay circuits, 25 Daikin VRV FCU integrations and more than 20 audio zones.
The project involved coordination with more than 20 contractors across different trades and systems. As the project progressed, numerous obstacles and coordination issues emerged between the various parties. Madoc took responsibility for bringing the different contractors and systems together, identifying problems, coordinating solutions and ensuring that the automation, electrical and integrated systems worked together as intended.
The relationship with the client continued beyond project completion. Even today, when the client encounters an issue in the home related to electrical or integrated systems, Madoc remains one of the first parties they contact for advice and technical opinion. We believe our responsibility does not end at handover. For Madoc, successful integration means being there to help clients understand, maintain and evolve their systems long after the project is complete.
The project began with planning how the home’s electrical, climate and audio systems would be centrally integrated.
With more than 20 contractors involved across different trades, Madoc coordinated the various parties throughout the project.
Madoc worked through issues between systems and contractors to bring the lighting, climate and audio systems together into a working installation.
Since handover, Madoc has continued to support the client with technical advice on the home’s systems.
